Effie Calavaza is a Native American jewelry artist of the Zuni Pueblo. Her work is in high demand world wide. She specializes in using large gemstones, sand casting Sterling Silver, and creating dazzling serpent deity designs. Effie has had many imitators over seas and she even had to go to the Supreme Court to gain copyright protection of her work to stop the copy cat imports. She has been creating incredible pieces of Silver jewelry non-stop since 1956.
